Contract type: Local standard, full time (35 hours per week), definite for two years (initially)
Payband: local PB4/H
Starting salary: from 30 417,- CZK (gross monthly)

Role Purpose: To project a professional image of British Council and act as British Council’s and UK ambassador and provide a high quality, welcoming and efficient integrated services to all customers in cooperation with other departments and colleagues. To deliver Sales & Customer Relations services in order to handle enquiries in English language and Exams fields.
The main duty of a Sales & Customer Service Consultant is to secure excellent sales results whilst meeting all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet its sales targets and grow in all related areas.
Main Accountabilities:
Sales support
- Act as a single point of contact for all customers, guide them through the journey from first enquiry to final sale using CRM (Salesforce) correctly when acquire and maintain an excellent level of product knowledge, pricing, and discounting.
- Maximise opportunities for cross selling and be accountable for monthly targets, while keeping careful track of the sales progress made at any one time.
- Meet all sales targets as set out by the organization.
- Proactively follow up with customers who contacted British Council and offer them solutions (including input and feedback from frontline customer experience).
Administrative and other support
- Maintain and update all databases and report in a timely and accurate manner and constantly liaise with Customer Services Manager and the Teaching Centre Operations Manager.
- Provide support as agreed with the line manager.
- Ensure safeguarding and guidelines are applied and upheld in line with British Council standards and policy.
Managing self and others
- Plan and prioritise own work activities.
- Task and coordinate others including temporary assistants to complete time-limited, straightforward activities, within established procedures, in order to ensure efficient delivery of services.
Requirements:
Minimum/Essential: Proven previous experience of working in customer service; Proven previous experience in sales; Advanced Computer skills Use of Outlook, Excel, Word; Written and oral communication skills in English (B2) and Czech (C1); Secondary school leaving certificate.
Desirable: Understanding of potential markets / customers; Experience in using Salesforce or any other sales system; Experience in working with reports and data; Bachelor´s degree or level equivalent.
Additional Requirements: The successful candidate will work in shifts on work weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. and occasionally on Saturdays from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m., covering the opening hours of the Prague office.
The successful candidate must have a pre-existing right to live and work in the Czech Republic.
