By focusing R&D efforts on four therapeutic areas and other targeted investments, we push the boundaries of what is possible in order to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
Design and implement in vitro screening to identify lead therapeutic biologics and address mechanisms-of-action. Perform complex cell-based functional experiments independently. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for drug discovery in the GI & Inflammation/Neuroscience (GI^2/NS) therapeutic areas.
How you will contribute:
Provide broad assay development support for early stage drug discovery projects in GI & Inflammation, and Neuroscience (GI^2 and NS) therapeutic areas
Design, troubleshoot, validate, and execute a variety of assays to characterize developability and mechanism of action of novel biologics
Collaborate with automation engineers to leverage automated/semi-automated execution of cell based assays
Analyze and interpret data, interface with project teams to meet timelines and milestones, and present findings
Spend ~85% of time in laboratory to maintain and implement cell based assay platform and perform experiments
