We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Alternatives Real Estate Investment Team. This role is located in New York, Los Angelos, or Lake Mary, Florida

The Yardi/Business Systems Specialist in Real Estate provides technical support and assistance to users of our financial software applications, primarily catered to fund accounting, client system interfaces and external property accounting groups. The ideal candidate must have Yardi expertise, and the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities are as follows (including but not limited to):

  • Serve as primary technical support and administrator for Yardi products, including Voyager, Investment Management, Calculator Analytics, Debt, Commercial and Residential, PayScan and CheckScan.
  • Deliver expert-level support and advanced troubleshooting for Yardi modules and integrated systems
  • Experience in YSR & SQL reporting for custom report development and troubleshooting a plus
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts, including importing/exporting data and working with multiple sources to load data into target systems
  • Fundamental understanding of real estate fund and property accounting system concepts 
  • Assist internal team members in fund accounting and external property accounting teams to resolve technical issues
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding funds and property accounting teams
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree with a BA or BS in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
  • 5+ years of supporting Yardi Investment Management, Debt, Calculator Analytics, Commercial and Residential and related Yardi products 
  • Ability to apply new technologies and software applications and understand how systems interconnect to support business objectives, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with users and clients of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a team to develop solutions for common or recurring challenges
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve data and reporting issues effectively
  • Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn and support, Yardi YSR and SQL reporting 
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, including excel 
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
