Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation/Springfield) - FT/80

Description

The Physical Therapist will:

• Use the physical therapy process in the delivery of patient care in an in-patient or out-patient setting, adhering to departmental policies and procedures. 
• Use communications skills to facilitate exchange of ideas for quality patient care with patient/family, supportive Medical Staff, and community. 
• Act in accordance with the Standards of Conduct and Ethical Practice of APTA, the Vermont Practice Act, and hospital/department policies to maintain high standards of professional behavior. 
• Maintain competency by participating in professional growth and development and internal/external educational activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. (preferred)
• Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
• Current Physical Therapist license in Vermont in good standing. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Physical Therapy evaluation, reassessment and treatment techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.
