JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, HR Shared Services is responsible for leading and managing activities for the HR Shared Services function and HRIS team. The Senior Director will develop and implement a shared services model into the HR function, managing the HR information systems, to include online recruitment and onboarding in Greenhouse ATS, employee, and manager self-service, in Wurk and reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes. The HR Shared Services organization is accountable for responding to HR-related inquiries from managers, employees, and HR Business Partners, providing transactional support for the various HR functions, and championing continuous HR processes improvements.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Build a high performing HR Shared Services Team that drives results through a simple, easy to understand structure that makes HR adaptable and efficient.
- Drive ongoing improvements through standardizing, automating, and consolidating processes in support of HR strategic goals.
- Identifies problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoots issues and recommends solutions.
- Sets HR Shared Services strategy.
- Creates and executes on HRIS roadmap, which includes employee and manager self-sufficiency.
- Maintain and champion HR governance, while measuring and communicating success.
- Creates and implements short-term and long-term plans that drive ongoing operational, efficiency and employee experience improvements.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, performance management, team building and succession planning.
- Works with HR leaders to ensure alignment and implementation of workforce strategies, actively leveraging metrics and analytics where appropriate.
- Actively participates in and provides subject matter expertise for HR programs redesign and/or special projects that involve the HR Shared Services and HRIS teams.
- Ensures effective HR service delivery and drives continual improvement; ensures activities leverage best practices, are coordinated, and focus on achieving desired results in alignment with the organization’s strategy.
- Maintains strong vendor relationship and execution of various compliance topics, including, but not limited to, labor law posters, background checks, I9s and unemployment and income verifications.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Impeccable ability to keep information confidential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Sui
