The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Government and Capital Property Specialist (Level 4) to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with development of policies associated with program property management processes for company or government property and acts as key focal for interacting with contracting organizations and customers on complex issues related to current property system status.
- Provides expertise to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to ensure accountability for property from initial acquisition to final disposition.
- Develops procedures and guidelines associated with establishing acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance processes, property utilization and consumption and disposition and contract closeout for company or government property.
- Reviews records for accuracy and reviews processes for compliance to establish procedures and guidelines.
- Leads the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures.
- Develops and delivers training and provides guidance to less experienced employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 5+ years of experience managing Government or Capital Property.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite.
- 3 + year of experience with inventory management information systems or database
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience administering processes and tools for managing
- 1+ year of experience working RCCA plans.
- 1+ year experience with CAPRS (Common Automated Procurement Request
- 2+ years of experience working with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $89,250 - $120,750
