Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced sponsorship marketer with a passion for sports to support our sponsorship portfolio. As a manager on our US sponsorships team, this role will serve as a key day-to-day supervisor of marketing and rights management for Deloitte’s Olympic & Paralympic sponsorships in the United States.

Work you’ll do
- Sports & Integrated Marketing Activation
- Serve as a day-to-day US lead to develop, execute, and measure Deloitte’s Olympic and Paralympic integrated marketing activation plan to maximize objectives. Activation focuses include showcasing our brand at scale through affiliation with sports properties (Team USA/USOPC, LA28, IOC/IPC), deepening loyalty and understanding with current and prospective clients with a focus on B2B storytelling, and fostering pride with our own people through communications and experiences
- Work closely with global sponsorship team members to ensure relevancy of global marketing initiatives in the US, while developing and leading overall US activation plan through contractual marketing assets and incremental activation across owned, paid, property, and earned media
- Work closely with sports properties on the activation plan, while overseeing contractual assets and directly managing marketing-related assets. Lead ongoing status calls with assigned sports properties and keep internal stakeholders up to date
- Oversee development of Deloitte creative, messaging, and placements across all internal and external channels
- Support media team to develop, implement, and measure paid media plans across digital, social, broadcast, and other placements
- Coordinate with sponsorship hospitality and operations team to integrate key marketing and sponsorship messages into hospitality programming
- Working closely with internal comms and other teams to collaborate on employee engagement initiatives in the lead-up to and during the Olympic & Paralympic Games
- Manage Olympics & Paralympic athletes and other assets for programming in the US, including identification and negotiation with athletes/agents as necessary
- Coordinate with PR on earned media approach, including press releases
- Be a liaison with Deloitte Sports Practice members and other professional services teams to understand current and future professional services work with sports organizations and apply into activation plans
- Work with other key internal departments to maximize sponsorship impact, quality, and measurement, including data storytelling, risk, and legal
- Champion reporting, including quantifying, assessing, and showcasing impact of all activation and placements
- Be a leader of sponsorship insights, consistently looking to optimize our best practices, assessment of the sponsorship landscape, and mapping out best insights to continue to elevate our approach
- Closely support US Olympic & Paralympic Leader across key areas of hospitality programming and coordination
- Sponsorship Rights Management
- Bring hands-on experience in sports/sponsorship to help serve as an internal subject matter expert on Olympic & Paralympic rights management
- Develop full understanding of the nuances of rights, designations, and considerations for Olympic & Paralympic relationships
- Be an internal champion and liaison to help teams across Deloitte tap into the power of sponsorship properties within rights
- Oversee use of all contractual assets and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all assets are used strategically
- Coordinate and track reviews of all creative and copy assets using sponsorship intellectual property, both internally and externally
- Overall Team Responsibilities
- Support overall sponsorship marketing activities which may include cross-sponsorship and sponsorship-specific concepting, presentation development, sweepstakes concepting and rules development, athlete alignment recommendations, athlete negotiations, coordination of executive speaking engagements, and other assigned areas
