HVAC Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This hybrid role supports both the front counter and warehouse operations, helping to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall company success.

Ideal candidates will have prior HVAC product knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, order placement, and pricing inquiries
• Use electronic and print catalogs to provide accurate information on product availability
• Prioritize regular accounts while delivering excellent service to all customers
• Upsell, cross-sell, and promote special, discontinued, and overstocked items to increase order value
• Handle returns, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor
• Make outbound sales calls as directed by management
• Keep the sales counter clean, organized, and well-stocked with impulse and promotional items
• Attend product training and participate in company-sponsored sales promotions

Warehouse & Inventory

• Pull, fill, and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery or pickup
• Retrieve items from warehouse as needed during customer transactions
• Receive and log incoming shipments; maintain inventory through regular audits
• Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts and reporting of discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment
• Operate a forklift safely (must maintain certification and complete safety checks)
• Assist with order tracking and provide accurate updates on order status

Operations & Compliance

• Maintain proficiency in all required computerized systems and technologies
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures in a drug-free workplace
• Present a neat, professional appearance and act as a team player
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior HVAC product knowledge required
• At least 2 years of sales, warehouse, or related experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Forklift experience preferred (certification may be provided)

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
