Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is hiring a Maintenance Planner to support our production facility in Garden City, KS.
This is a day-shift, Monday–Friday role focused on preventive maintenance, work order planning, and SAP coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive & predictive maintenance activities
- Manage maintenance work orders, job plans, labor hours, and parts availability in SAP
- Maintain and prioritize work order backlog to support production schedules
- Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance schedules
- Create purchase orders and manage MRO inventory
- Maintain equipment documentation, manuals, and schematics
- Prepare maintenance reports and equipment history tracking
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to improve reliability programs
- Ensure safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance
High school diploma or GED
2+ years’ experience in maintenance planning, MRO, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance
Experience using SAP or CMMS systems preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
English required
