You Have: 

• 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering in support of command, control, communications, computers, cyber-defense, combat systems, military satellite communications, positioning, navigation and timing, intelligence, surveillance, or reconnaissance missions in a major Defense Acquisition Program

• 2+ years of experience in DoD Science and Technology (S&T) or technology maturation processes that are performed by DoD and national research laboratories 

• Experience with Position, Navigation, Timing mission area

• Experience with Military Satellite Communications Mission Area

• Experience with early technology research, experimentation, or prototyping efforts leading to technology maturation and adoption 

• Experience leading a team working on large-scale DoD systems

• Ability to effectively manage staff and client relationships in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to effectively communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals 

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with future architecture planning resulting in well-orchestrated, evolutionary improvement of a system or system-of-systems

• Experience leading a team using the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines 

• Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) of major DoD space systems 

• Experience with DoD acquisition planning for space systems 

• Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 and systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2 

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies 

• Knowledge of Stakeholder Utility Analysis or similar methodologies to support prioritization of enterprise capability needs 

• Top Secret clearance  

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a technical field 

• Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annual
