Manufacturing Supervisor - Night Shift.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
In this exciting role you will be working a 3-4/4-3 / 12hr schedule Thursday to Saturday, Then Wednesday to Saturday Schedule on Night Shift (D-Shift) 6pm-6:30am. Responsibility for D-Shift operations with 70-75 operators.
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
Operational Efficiency for this Supervisory role: This role will require rotational assignments within the Manufacturing areas to provide learning opportunities to meet business needs in all functional areas. This will continually enhance operational efficiency and diversity on all aspects of Manufacturing.

Ability to work a rotating 3-4/4-3 12-hour NIGHT schedule. The schedule below will be done alternately.
Wednesday -- Saturday 6PM to 6:30AM (Week 1) / 4 Days
Thursday -- Saturday 6PM to 6:30AM (Week 2) / 3 Days
Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following skills, experiences, and certifications.
Lean Six Sigma Certification.
BS degree in Technical Sciences.
The incumbent should be technically competent and able to provide clear direction to Operators and Technicians; 65 - 70 on night shift.
Previous Medtronic and/or Medical Device experience is helpful.
Shift scheduling and Kronos experience is helpful.
Experience with interviewing, hiring and training Operators and Technicians.
Manufacturing Management experience within a controlled and regulated industry.
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide variety of people.
Good writing and documentation skills.
Good organizational and verbal communication skills.
Personal computer skills in a variety of software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, inventory management system, and manufacturing execution systems that support the manufacturing environment.
