Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (level 2 or 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will focus on the role of an Internal Work Order (IWO) Administration Analyst. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program within the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own the IWO process and drive efficiency in processing IWO changes to closure
- Maintain metrics on IWO requests and revisions
- Assist CAMs with determination of IWO Statement of Work (SOW), funding, and other terms
- Analyze IWO requests to ensure sufficient budget exists, the work packages are open and are correct in type
- Determine if forecast cost and dates are appropriate for IWO creation
- Facilitate staff inquiries on existing IWOs
- Accurately assist CAM to fill out the IWO Request Forms confirming accuracy of POCs
- Input IWO data into OneIWO system and route for approvals
- Continuous monitoring of IWO budget & period of performance; create IWO revisions to extend period of performance or increase budget as required
- Close out IWOs validating actuals against estimated value; request performer IWOs close their network
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst level or Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst level
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related professional experience; a Master's degree and 1 year,; or a HS Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (Principal level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional experience; a Master's degree and 3 years,; or a HS Diploma with 6 years may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
- Requires experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra, MS Project, or OneIWO
- Requires experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and Power BI
- Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
- 3+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
- Awareness of contracts and IWO agreements
- Strong PC skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
