Job Details:

TVDC -Yard Driver Opr - B Shift - Full Time 

Job Summary:  This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

• Team member will be required to use all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel checks/jack stands.
• Team member must be willing to ensure trailers are sealed.
• Team member will be required to do routine temperature checks of trailers.
• Team member must follow all safety rules.
• Team member must work well with others.

Requirements:

• Team member must have trailer driving experience.
• Team member must have a good attitude and good attendance.
• Team member must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard.
• Must be 18 years of age, have a current valid state issued driver’s license no DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months and fewer than 4 points based on evaluation system.
• Rehires must have no more than 3 rehires and must wait a 90 day period before rehire.
