Job Description
Summary:
The Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions for our Digital Transformation group, is responsible for leading the DT workstream in all mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions. This role requires collaboration with corporate development, business unit leaders, and DT teams to ensure seamless integration or separation of DT systems, infrastructure, and processes. The manager will oversee DT due diligence, develop integration/separation plans, manage budgets, and execute DT-related activities to achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- DT Due Diligence: Lead efforts to assess the target company's IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and operations.
- Integration/Separation Planning: Develop comprehensive plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Project Management: Coordinate with IT teams to ensure timely and successful execution of integration/separation projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Align IT strategies with business objectives through collaboration with corporate development and IT leadership.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage IT budgets for M&A projects.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external IT vendors and consultants.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including data security and compliance.
- Communication: Ensure transparency and alignment by communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Post-Merger Integration: Support the transition of IT systems and processes post-merger.
- Compliance: Ensure activities comply with regulations, standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 10+ years of experience in DT, focusing on M&A or related areas.
- Experience in large, complex organizations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Strong understanding of the M&A lifecycle.
- IT Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components.
- Application Integration: Understanding of integration methodologies and technologies.
- Cybersecurity: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Project Management: Proficiency in methodologies and tools.
- Financial Management: Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
- Vendor Management: Experience in managing IT vendor relationships.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
