Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

• Define, design, develop, and implement complex Anaplan models, primarily supporting FP&A
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define best practices, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements
• Translate existing solutions and modeling into sophisticated Anaplan models
• Modify existing models to bring in new functionality, to optimize, or to connect with new models
• Provide architectural guidance adhering to best practices and latest Anaplan capabilities/releases
• Provide technical direction to model builder team
• Scope and estimate effort of new requests; perform root cause analysis and provide solutions
• Create model documentation

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Proven track record of successful Anaplan solution design and implementation
• Expertise in data analysis and manipulation, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and SaaS business model and revenue recognition
• Ability to work creatively and analytically
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving projects forward
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Math, Business, Engineering or a related field
• Advanced certification in Anaplan, ideally Master Anaplanner
• Minimum of 5 years model building experience with 2+ years of experience in large Anaplan implementation projects, ideally in FP&A projects

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $155,600 - $272,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
