Responsibilities

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Full Stack Developer (Senior) to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

 

Demonstrated working knowledge & experience in the following areas: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, GitLab, network engineering, AWS Cloud, agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross-functional team.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• At least 8 years experience in full stack development
• Experience in the following Programming Languages (at least 2): C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, & Angular
• Familiarity & Knowledge: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & Nifi
• Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross-functional team (required)

Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years’ experience in full stack development; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 8 years experience in full stack development

 

Certifications: SAFe for Teams Certification, & AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.

• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security
