Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) and play a critical role in driving the success and adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation. We’re seeking an energetic, creative individual who thrives in bridging innovative technology with customer needs. Collaborate closely with industry-leading engineers, product teams, and sales professionals to shape compelling narratives and accelerate market growth.

Exciting Responsibilities:

·       Create engaging technical content, including solution guides, white papers, blogs, videos, demos, and captivating presentations showcasing the power of Kubernetes within VMware Cloud Foundation.

·       Deliver outstanding technical demonstrations and webinars to customers, partners, and internal teams, reinforcing VMware Cloud Foundation’s market-leading capabilities.

·       Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, sales teams, and customers, providing feedback that can directly influence product roadmaps and feature developments.

·       Serve as a recognized VMware Cloud Foundation expert, with the opportunity to present our technology at industry events, conferences, webinars, and customer engagements.

·       Explore and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to keep VMware ahead of the curve.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

·       Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deployment, cluster management, and troubleshooting.

·       Strong technical foundation in Linux administration, scripting, and troubleshooting.

·       Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere.

·       Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, adept at translating complex technical details into engaging, understandable messages.

·       Ability to produce compelling technical content that resonates with diverse audiences.

·       Passionate about technology, with strong analytical and innovative problem-solving capabilities.

·       Collaborative spirit, capable of excelling independently and within dynamic cross-functional teams.

·       Bachelor's and 8+ years of related experience; at this level post-graduate coursework may be

desirable or Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience or PhD and 3+ years of related experience

DIfferentiating Qualifications:

·       Familiarity or hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and related technologies (e.g., vSAN, NSX).

·       Prior experience in technical marketing, product marketing, solutions engineering, or related fields.

·       Experience with VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service, the vSphere Supervisor, or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.

·       Relevant technical certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits 

The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $210,000. 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
