  • Develop and implement robust control plans for various project phases, up to serial production, ensuring compliance with customer-specific and internal quality requirements.
  • Provide transparency on project quality status to the project team, Steering Committee, and OE Quality Organization, and initiate escalation processes if quality targets are not met.
  • Act as an expert and coach on APQP tools within the project team, holding the authority to halt processes or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance.
  • Support the development of D-FMEAs and P-FMEAs with quality-related input, and align customer and internal drawings with engineering and metrology to ensure specifications are feasible for production.

  • Ensure correct execution and documentation of all dimensional measurements throughout project phases, and maintain responsibility for the conformity of parts delivered to the customer up to PPAP.
  • Support R&D in defining requalification requirements in control plans and act as the internal quality interface for the Supplier Quality Engineer to communicate requirements.
  • Coordinate customer product and process releases during all project phases, lead problem-solving processes for customer claims or internal deviations before full PPAP approval, and oversee the handover process to plant CQE, ensuring proper application of quality controls for serial production.
  • In global projects, manage PQE tasks for project phases 0 to 3, involve local PQEs in respective subprojects, hand over responsibility from phase 4 onwards, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Participate in creating global D-FMEAs and master P-FMEAs for common part families, develop a global Control Plan Concept, and supervise its implementation at local sites.
  • Coordinate input from all local PQEs on drawings and measurement strategies, and act as the point of contact with the customer for global quality where required.
  • Provide input on APQP/PPAP requirements for common Tier 2 parts, support achieving project milestones in all local subprojects, and coordinate the implementation of quality-related lessons learned.
