Job Description
Be at the forefront of today’s exciting and dynamic world of digital transformation. NBCUniversal is looking for a skilled and motivated Business Solution Analyst with a strong background in contract lifecycle management (CLM), project management, and legal expertise.
In this position, you will contribute to the growth and success of NBCUniversal’s Contract Lifecycle Management enterprise solution by applying your experience to the following.
- Configure and customize the CLM SaaS system to meet NBCUni's specific requirements, including configuring templates, defining workflows, master data, data fields, user roles, and access controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including legal business groups, to understand their contract management needs. Gather detailed requirements, and identify pain points, process inefficiencies, and desired system capabilities.
- Apply project management methodologies to oversee CLM system implementation projects. Develop project plans, define timelines, and track progress to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Customize the CLM system to align with unique business processes and integrate it with other enterprise applications. Create custom fields, configure validation rules, design reports and dashboards, and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Work closely with legal teams to ensure the CLM system adheres to company requirements and internal policies. Implement contract approval workflows, manage document version control, and maintain data confidentiality and security.
- Manage the migration of contract data from legacy systems or spreadsheets to the CLM system. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities, including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure system accuracy and performance.
- Provide training and support to end-users on effectively utilizing the CLM system. Create user documentation, conduct training sessions, and address user queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor the performance of the CLM system, troubleshoot issues, and work with the SaaS vendor to apply necessary updates or resolve bugs. Stay updated with the latest CLM software features and industry best practices to propose system enhancements and improvements.
- Able to analyze and discern intellectual property rights and ownership through a review of production, distribution, co-finance, and other contracts and agreements.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of configuration experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), or Document Management system(s)
- Demonstrated experience with implementing contract management system(s)
- In-depth understanding of contract management principles, legal processes, and legal data knowledge
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and end-user CLM support
- Strong data analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong documentation acumen using business language
- Experience with legal and/or technology solutions
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SmartSheet, Jira
- Must work at the Universal City, CA, location.
Desired Characteristics:
- Entertainment experience, including knowledge of contractual analysis, preferred.
- Understanding of distribution rights, ancillary rights, sales restrictions, holdbacks, talent approvals, and similar product information
- Experience with business intelligence and analytic tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical and business concepts with leadership teams, technical developers, and end-users
- Creative and original thinker who is highly self-motivated and can learn new technologies with a desire to have hands-on experience and an understanding of the business value that it provides
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work on assigned development tasks with minimal oversight, leveraging team members and resources as necessary
