As our Tax Manager, you will support the corporate office Accounting department by preparing book/tax differences to be reported on the federal consolidated income tax return, reviewing and preparing federal and state tax returns, responding to federal and state income tax notices, and assisting with the preparation of the income tax provision.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review the income tax provisions calculations by legal entity
• Review Schedules Ms
• Prepare and review taxable income calculations by legal entity and ensure the information is included in the Income Tax Software correctly, including the consolidating eliminations
• Review and prepare Federal and State Taxable Income Calculations as well as the corresponding Income Tax Returns
• Assist with review and preparation of Foreign Income Tax Provision and Foreign Income Tax Returns
• Perform income tax research and analysis as needed and communicate and implement findings to various internal and external stakeholders
• Work with other organizations within the company explaining tax laws
• Responsible for maintaining and managing the tax depreciation software and reviewing outputs from the tax depreciation software
• Perform other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Tax is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in corporate taxation
• Possess a good understanding of accounting for income tax (ASC 740) and tax compliance
• Experience working with OneSource Tax Provision software preferred
• Experience working with SAP preferred
• Experience supervising, reviewing and directing work of tax preparers
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to independently identify and resolve issues
• Strong communication skills with ability to discuss tax topics and present the information to others such that they are able to understand
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Good leadership and project management skills

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
