OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Alpine is seeking a Corporate Development Project Manager, Diligence & Integrations to assist with transaction processes. This is a mid-level position requiring an understanding of due diligence and M&A process, integrations and strong project management skills and business acumen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage due diligence process from LOI signed to deal closed. This project manager will assist with transaction execution, including managing third party vendors and internal functions to perform appropriate financial analyses, coding/billing audits, compliance/regulatory reviews, technology assessments and HR/employee diligence to ensure comprehensive and efficient diligence process
- Manage data room and ensure data exchange occurs on expected timelines; follow up with practices and help drive resolution to data extraction challenges
- Manage diligence and pre-close integration interdependencies and associated closing timelines
- Own communication throughout the diligence process to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Leverage diligence findings and communicate key post-closing activities in collaboration with the integrations and operations teams to prepare practices for successful onboarding onto Alpine’s platform across all functions (Corporate Development, HR, Technology, Finance); ensure consistency of process, administration, and systems
- Improve acquisition processes and organizational project management tools
EDUCATION, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience in Healthcare Services M&A, Project Management, Operations, or Integration; or Healthcare Services consulting with a major firm
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Strong Project Management skills with experience managing several projects simultaneously
- Experience with Smartsheet, developing and maintaining metrics and dashboards
- Good analytical and organizational skills with an ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex issues in a professional, but simple, easy to understand way
- An engaging and approachable personality with the ability to negotiate win/win outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in a rapid growth, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Healthcare industry experience working with provider groups preferred. Knowledge and experience with the benefits of value-based care, integrated, coordinated delivery systems preferred
- Ability to set project related deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and track status of all key diligence and integration activities and produce effective reporting
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Operations, Technology and HR teams to execute successful transaction processes
- A team player with very good interpersonal skills, who builds trust and strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively and be open to the ideas of others. Can present data and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas in a concise and easily understood manner
