Sr. M365 Engineer

JOB TITLE:     Senior M365 Engineer 

 

LOCATION:    Dallas, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)

 

DUTIES: Modernize, transform, and optimize computer environment on-premise and in the cloud, focusing on managing and administrating collaboration solutions Box, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Viva, and O365; design, deploy, manage, administrate, and support e-mail solutions such as Microsoft Exchange (in a hybrid scenario), Microsoft Defender and Mimecast; manage endpoint management platforms such as Intune, System Center Configuration Manager and Tanium; support compliance and security tools such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, Box Shield; administrate Azure services such as Enterprise applications, AD Connect, and Microsoft subscription licenses; work with IT staff to determine specific needs and how to best implement technical solutions for on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure; act as the senior point of escalation, technical advisor, and mentor for other systems engineering team members; identify and troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis; participate in the design and configuration process of new systems and technology; analyze, respond, and resolve incidents and requests; conduct after-hours maintenance.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Desktop Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years with Identity and Access Management using Active Directory and Entra ID, Microsoft collaboration solutions and supporting technologies/tools including Exchange, Teams Admin, SharePoint, and Viva; 4 years with Cloud-based email protection using Mimecast and MS Defender; and 2 years with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Tanium, design and implementation of Cloud storage including migration strategies, data security, governance, and compliance, using BOX, One Drive for Business, MS Purview, and Box Shield. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
