Senior Java Software Engineer (Fully Remote - Athens)

<p>On behalf of our client, a cutting-edge voice applications global leader, we are currently looking for a highly driven <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> to become a vital member of a well-versed and highly skilled engineering team, and assist in the creation of scalable solutions for the emerging growth of their international customers.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>A day in the life of a ‘Senior Software Engineer’</strong></p><p>You will be an expert in Software Engineering and able to design your code with performance and quality in mind. You must have the hunger to learn and share your knowledge within an agile development team.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your day-to-day</strong></p><ul> <li>Work within a team of developers on the customization of Company’s major application</li> <li>Developing the core framework using cutting edge technologies</li> <li>Providing development and architecture related recommendations, consultation and expert advice to the team</li> <li>Contributing to the requirements analysis and the technical design</li> <li>Breaking down development structures and developing subprojects</li> <li>Researching on utilization of other frameworks, tool stacks and methodologies</li> <li>Participate in transitions of the developed components to the testing environment</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>University or College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant technology-related field</li> <li>Minimum 4+ years of experience in Java programming</li> <li>Strong experience with Spring framework and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) like Hibernate and JPA</li> <li>Excellent command of business English, both written and verbal</li> <li>Familiarity with Microservices architecture will be considered as a huge plus</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Great to have </strong></p><ul> <li>Experience in technologies such as Kafka, Elastic, Mongo</li> <li>Familiarity with Dockers and Kubernetes</li> <li>Familiarity of core front end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, React</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>We love your personality if you</strong></p><ul> <li>are a team player</li> <li>have good communication skills</li> <li>constantly raise the bar</li> <li>enjoy being a Team player</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>A very competitive package, depending on level of experience.
