Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Advising Associate assists with student advising and other student services activities.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of academic support experience; OR associate's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to use and working knowledge of various computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple activities with limited supervision while maintaining confidentiality. Presents a professional demeanor. Communicates effectively. Exercises good judgement. Attentive to details. Skilled multitasker. Quick learner. Very responsible. Team player that takes initiative.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Banner, CONCUR, buyBAMA, Digital Measures, and/or other UA software programs.
