Great Rivers Animal Hospital in Alton, IL is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our compassionate team of pet care professionals. Due to our continued growth, we're excited to welcome a new team member who shares our commitment to exceptional veterinary care.

Great Rivers Animal Hospital is a thriving small animal general practice that recently relocated to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in 2024. Located near St. Louis, we provide comprehensive veterinary services in a modern, well-equipped environment. The Role 

As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you'll be a vital member of our clinical team, working alongside our veterinarians to provide exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures 

• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results 

• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients 

• Educate clients about pet health and preventative care 

• Maintain medical records and equipment 

• Prepare surgical instruments and assist during surgeries 

• Administer medications and treatments as directed
