Acute Care Surgery (ACS) General Surgeon

The NYU Langone Health Department of Surgery (Tisch/Kimmel Manhattan Campus) is seeking an acute care general surgeon to join a busy practice at the premier tertiary academic medical center. The position is located at the main campus on the east side of Manhattan in the heart of New York City. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery and have strong minimally invasive skills.

This position will expand our Emergency General Surgery program which is currently at approximately 700 cases/year and growing. Daytime and night/weekend call coverage is included.  No expectation of elective surgical practice. No trauma service, ICU coverage can be available if desired.

Qualifications

Recent Graduates considered.

Current NYS Medical License.

Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility (American Board of Surgery) in General Surgery.

Strong Minimally Invasive Surgery skillset is ideal.
