What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a motivated and talented summer intern enrolled in a mechanical or aerospace engineering program to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively to support various projects involving rapid response C5ISR programs. The internship will last 10-12 weeks and you will be expected to work 100% on-site.

More About the Role:

• Work individually and as part of a small team to complete drawing packages and redlines.
• Perform prototype design based on customer requirements and develop associated design and technical packages.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CAD modeling software such as Solidworks..
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for production efforts, manuals, and proposals.
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings of assemblies and products.
• Create take offs, Bill of Materials based on submitted drawing packages.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a mechanical or aerospace engineering program.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.
• Strong proficiency with CAD modeling software.
• Experience producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
• Work individually and as part of a small team to complete multiple replications and electromechanical designs and prototypes.
• Perform prototype design based on customer requirements and develop associated design and technical packages.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CAD modeling software such as Solidworks.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for production efforts, manuals, and proposals.
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings of assemblies and products.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• SolidWorks certifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900 - 79,900 USD
