As a Biomedical Field Service Technician I at USME you will perform necessary repair, periodic maintenance and operation verification procedures on high-quality movable medical equipment, beds, and therapeutic surfaces, ensuring that healthcare providers can focus on patient healing.

A Day in the Life

• Be available to provide service at local partner locations and locations that require travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member and to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
• Performs assigned planned maintenance under close supervision by the Team Lead or an experienced BMET.
• Performs duties assigned by Team Lead based on Weekly Hot List, projects, and internal requests.
• Assists experienced BMETs with testing and calibration of equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations and other established guidelines.
• Makes decisions based on clear instructions and operational rules and procedures. Refers more difficult decisions to higher level for advice.
• Maintain updated knowledge of equipment, services, and policies through regular professional development trainings.
• Travel nationally as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronics or equivalent training and experience required.
• 0-2 years of industry experience
