The Opportunity:
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.
Your role at Sephora:
As the Marketing Production Management Intern, you will partner with internal teams and external vendors to bring marketing and creative visions to life. This role will focus on the management of our kitted sampling promotional programs, and support the production of printed collateral/direct mail.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end project timelines, acting as key liaison between internal teams and vendors.
- Create & manage detailed project tracking tools for kitted sample bags.
- Communicate key project information to stakeholders: translate vendor reports to digestible updates for team, that inform critical project strategy decisions.
- Provide quality control for all pre & post-production goods. Troubleshoot quality risks with vendors.
- Maintain work focus despite obstacles or setbacks by managing unforeseen project changes and rush requests with vendor and internal teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail & highly organized, able to track to multiple project timelines at once
- Desire to lead and be proactive. Able to work independently and with a team
- Interest in Marketing within the Beauty Industry
- Experience in project management, marketing production, print, direct mail, manufacturing, cross-functional/ vendor partnerships, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Smartsheet, Monday.com and Ziflow
Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
- Remote & hybrid program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA
Program Details:

2024 Program Dates:
- June 3 – August 16
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, PST
- June 17 – 20: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
- July 1 – 5: Week off for vacation
*Hybrid positions = require part of work weekdays in in the SF headquarters office
The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
