Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities include:
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of Oracle PeopleSoft systems
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with Oracle applications and software integration
- Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture
- Support the design of systems, architecture, and associated hardware
- Provide in-depth experience in supporting Oracle PeopleSoft systems
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to client management and internal customers for escalated tickets
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology systems
- Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Here's what you need:
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Bonus points if you have:
- Application support experience
- Database Administration (DBA) experience
- Prior ERP support experience
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
