Responsibilities:
- Act as escalation point for Help Desk Specialists.
- Respond to support queries via email, office communication software, over the phone, or in person at assigned office location.
- Configure company issued hardware for distribution to employees at HQ and off-site locations.
- Receive company issued equipment when no longer required by employees.
- Participate in maintaining detailed asset inventory for all office locations.
- Provide first day support to all new employees at assigned office location.
- Coordinate employee offboarding process for company asset collection.
- Manage A/V equipment for customer and executive meetings and provide support as required.
- Oversee vendors working on company assets.
- Manage assignment of building access cards to new employees and card deactivation at employee departure.
- Handle company badge creation and distribution to all company offices.
- Maintain STIG laptop image for deployment to company assets, updated monthly with released patches from all vendor software packages.
- Test all patches prior to deployment to company assets.
- Perform maintenance, patching, and software upgrades to office networking equipment.
- Assist in setting up new office spaces by specifying equipment needs based on site and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with and manage vendors performing work at company offices.
- Manage Group Policy updates and deployments.
- Audit Microsoft Entra on monthly basis to validate correct onboarding/offboarding procedures by Help Desk Specialists.
- Validate that organizational KPIs are being met by Help Desk team.
- Review all software requests and work with vendors to generate quotes for approval by organizational leadership.
- Create weekly report on asset patching status for organizational leadership.
- Generate reports, as necessary, for organizational leadership.
- Provide after-hours support for organization defined critical issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Capable of operating on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote).
- Ability to travel to other company office locations to as required for business operations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Experience managing Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Advanced knowledge on working in Microsoft PowerShell.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate within organizational KPIs.
- Strong understanding of NIST 800-171r2 requirements.
Strongly Desired:
- Understanding of Microsoft’s licensing model.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s GCC-HIGH environment.
- A/V system support/maintenance experience.
- Comfortable with mentoring and providing actionable feedback to junior team members.
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS degree with at least 3-5 years experience or supplemental experience is required.
