What you'll do
Docusign is looking for an amazing Senior Software Engineer to join our development team in Seattle. You will be responsible for building the foundation Back End system that powers our Intelligent Agreement Management. This position will be part of a team working on building service that will allow us to scale to meet the next 10x of growth. We need back end engineers to build next generation software and services that make up the Intelligent Agreement Management Platform and be able to work with Product Managers to build and ship customer scenarios that are used by 100s of enterprises. This position will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile, fast paced environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. Opportunity to build a large scale distributed system.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering.
Responsibility
- Be open minded, forward thinking, and passionate about great software
- Think about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems
- Develop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverage
- Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate engineering requirements into design requirements and provide estimates
- Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and development and release of products
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent
- 8+ years development experience
- Experience working with C#, .Net Core, SQL Database and Designing Large scale distributed systems
Preferred
- Experience building/consuming RESTful web-services
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Experience shipping highly available, scalable service on Azure
- Experiences with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git) build process, testing, and code release
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
- Ability and desire to move across technology stacks
- Passion for working on a highly available site
- A passion to learn new software technologies
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800 - $214,350 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
