Senior Functional Analyst

<p>Our partner, a key player in the personal Data security domain, is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to reinforce their team.</p><p>You’ll be part of a mature agile team working on <strong>next-generation digital and transactional solutions</strong>. The ideal candidate can not only translate business needs into clear functional requirements, but also <strong>collaborate closely with the IT team</strong> to guide implementation and ensure functional coherence.</p>Role<ul><li>Playing a key role in <strong>functional analysis</strong>, identifying, detailing, and documenting business needs</li><li>Supporting your <strong>IT colleagues</strong> by handing over well-defined functional designs and being available throughout the implementation process</li><li>Working in a technically rich environment based on <strong>Java</strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>microservices</strong>, <strong>API integration</strong>, and <strong>data modelling</strong></li><li>Using tools like <strong>JIRA</strong> and <strong>Confluence</strong> to manage requirements and documentation within an agile delivery model</li><li>Collaborating with developers, testers, and architects to ensure <strong>future-proof and scalable solutions</strong></li><li>This is a <strong>long-term assignment</strong> with a <strong>hybrid work model</strong>. The client offers a stable, structured environment with room for proactive input and ownership.</li></ul> Profile<ul><li>At least <strong>5 years of relevant experience</strong> as a Functional Analyst</li><li>A <strong>solid IT background</strong> – you understand how systems are built and work</li><li>Experience in <strong>Java based environments is a big plus.</strong></li><li>Hands-on knowledge of <strong>API testing</strong> (Postman), microservice design, and basic <strong>data modelling</strong></li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to align business and technical stakeholders</li></ul>
