The Opportunity 

 This role provides leadership for the site project engineering and maintenance and all its functions to deliver annual business sustaining and strategic capex projects.  This full time position will report to the Engineering Manager and will;  

 

• Be responsible for all onsite engineering and maintenance activities.
• Lead and develop maintenance team and implement AM/PM pillars. Identify and develop resources to ensure department is fit for purpose to support operations and plant equipment at the plant.
• Ensure Early Management process is followed, and EM tools are utilized to achieve excellence in project delivery and minimize impact to daily operations.
• Maintain and influence annual site capital plan and annual budget for all capital projects at the plant.
• Develop and maintain 3 and 5 year capital plans with a prioritization towards critical needs.
• Work with finance, engineering manager and VP of engineering to coordinate budget and cash flow.
• Be part of the site leadership team to support plant performance and influence related areas to achieve annual goals and budget.
• Work with operations to assure Operational Readiness for projects to achieve vertical startup.
• Ensure projects delivered meet all applicable standards i.e. USDA compliancy, Grade A and/or PMO requirements
• Responsible for understanding and complying with EPA, DEQ, OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

 The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven record of project management and utility systems operation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
