We are looking for someone to join our Corporate Affairs Team as an associate who will report to our Director of Policy and Government Affairs. This role will oversee execution of a large public-sector grant to build a major EV fast charging station, distributed energy hub and community center in Red Hook, Brooklyn and will oversee local community engagement activities and workforce development training. The candidate will also identify and win RFPs and other contracts, competitive grants, project managing across various internal teams, as well as take a lead role in the administration of future grants.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Able to balance multiple priorities and work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
  • Able to troubleshoot and work with stakeholders to find solutions to potential roadblocks or other factors that may compromise complete and timely completion of the project
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience in grant execution, related management a strong plus
  • Experience in energy, transportation a plus
  • Experience/interest in community engagement, outreach and workforce development activities desired
  • Experience managing vendors and/or consultants a plus
  • Transportation and/or energy sector experience a plus

About the Role:

  • Work with internal Revel teams, and external community-based subcontractors to complete project deliverables and all required project reporting
  • Work closely with grant-issuing agencies and consultants to ensure Revel is meeting all contractual obligations and remains on-track with timely completion of full project scope
  • Assist community-based subcontractors in planning and executing outreach, workforce and other training activities
  • Ensure all deliverable deadlines are met
  • Identify and win RFPs and other contracts, competitive grants, project managing across various internal teams
  • Track public policy issues at the federal, state and local levels that could impact Revel and our community, keeping relevant internal partners informed and involved as needed

Revel has a hybrid work schedule and this role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Title and Salary will be determined by experience level of the selected candidate

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation range $70-90k per year, based on experience level. Our benefits package includes:
