The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Services Officer 2. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.

The position assists the Privacy Officer to ensure organizational compliance with HIPAA privacy laws and regulations. Provides overall support to the DDD Privacy Officer to disseminate information, detect and manage risks associated with HIPAA privacy laws and regulations. Assists the Privacy Officer with Investigations of potential HIPAA violations according to the internal Privacy policy and will coordinate with the DDD Privacy Officer during a breach or incidents that are reportable and maintains all documentation related to potential HIPAA violations, including any advice given by the Attorney General’s Office. Provides overall support to the DDD Privacy Officer to disseminate information, detect and manage risks associated with HIPAA privacy laws and regulations and assist in researching and analyzing federal, state, and local legislation, health care legal requirements, and best practices. Provides support to internal and external agents/stakeholders with HIPAA education as outlined by the DDD Privacy officer. This position may also process public records request.

Job Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Project manages the unit's assignments, tasks, and creates new processes for implementation approval from the COM. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting the status of facilities projects; asset acquisitions; surplus and other duties as assigned.
• Creates & tracks DTS wireless coordination service tickets for wireless devices; analyzes, verifies & provides monthly wireless data to each district, creates processes & services for purchase of personal computers & wireless devices, & the termination of wireless phone services. Maintains Division laptop & PC inventory, assigns, allocates & distributes new personal computers & laptop to Division staff. Consults with COM on project development, tools & strategies.
• Works closely with the division fleet liaisons in tracking issues, concerns and vehicle assignments; consults with the COM and DES Fleet Services on all matters.
• This position is responsible for supporting the management of the fiscal, business and operations functions for DDD Headquarters and statewide facilities projects. Processing specialty and routine purchasing and supply request orders including: research state contracted vendors for best prices; obtain quotes when necessary; setup and track open & issue one time POs as necessary.
• Completes activities associated with contract deliverables including but not limited to monitoring AdSS during ORs & Oversight Meetings; reviews & evaluates documents, reports, & deliverables submitted by AdSS; aggregates AdSS information into Division deliverables with AHCCCS; ensures timelines are met; reviews & is very knowledgeable of AHCCCS contract with Division especially related to areas of your expertise &
