Responsible for processing refused, returned, and undeliverable shipments to ensure accurate disposition and inventory reconciliation. Associate must work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy, quality standards, and proper documentation within warehouse management systems.
Your Task
- Receive and process refused, returned, and undeliverable shipments from carriers
- Inspect returned materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies
- Verify returned product against shipment documentation and system records
- Perform data entry and update warehouse management systems accurately
- Sort and route products for restock, disposal, return-to-vendor, or further review
- Identify and document discrepancies and communicate issues to Lead or Supervisor
- Repackage and relabel products as required
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with reconciliation processes
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards at all steps
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Operate RF scanner and other warehouse equipment as required
- Lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
- Work collaboratively with Fulfillment, Inventory Control, and Management teams
- Adhere to the company’s Quality Policy Statement and participate in the Quality Management System
- Report all injuries and accidents to Lead or Manager
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency
- Shift: 1st Shift - Weekends and Overtime required
Your profile
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and counting skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer and RF hand-held scanner experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive motion with hands and arms
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Skill set desired but not required: High school diploma (preferred or GED (required, 2 yrs of experience in a fast-paced or media finishing environment (preferred)
