As an Armed Patrol Officer within a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by routinely patrolling designated areas and maintaining a visible presence. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed security personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with special attention to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
- Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients by providing information and guidance as needed.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client site expectations.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and promote a feeling of security among those on site.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- An armed guard card or license is required as specified by local and/or state regulations.
- You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.<
