THIS IS A SEASONAL-ONLY POSITION
Candidates for this role must have open availability for summer and holiday coverage.  This could mean contract lengths between 2 - 4 months for summer coverage, and between 1 - 2 months for holiday coverage in November/December.  There is no guarantee of work outside of these seasonal needs.

Oversees the daily operations of kid's facilities. Plans and leads activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games, camping, and hobbies. Enforces camp rules and regulations and ensures safety in the shipboard facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Host activities and events for both kids and adults while adhering to the procedures and quality expectations of the Holland America Line brand. This includes but is not limited to: Youth program activities for all ages.
• Confirm and comply with all RAAS, USPH and HESS policies and procedures as applicable to youth facilities and minors onboard.
• Complete and maintain Child Safeguarding certification.
• Lead a safe and fun environment for youth programs.
• Follow approved hours of operation and activity guidelines.
• Provide exceptional one-on-one customer service to guests of all ages. 
• Be knowledgeable of all shipboard events and information to assist guests when needed. 
• Serve as a brand ambassador and positively represent Holland America Line both on and off the ship.
• Promote the use of the Navigator App experience tools to drive guest satisfaction, onboard revenue, and performance.
• Maintain all inventory and supplies related to the youth program.
• Keep youth facilities clean, tidy, and organized. 
• Report equipment and facility needs to the Host (Lead).
• Display impeccable dress sense and appearance in the appropriate uniform.
• Comply with all Health, Environmental, Safety and Security policies of the Company. 
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned and directed by management.
