Sales Representative - Chicago

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative, Hospitality based remotely in the greater Chicago, IL area. This individual is responsible for developing profitable sales growth for dormakaba in the assigned territory by closing sales of electronic access control, cloud operating systems and integrated solutions in the hospitality sector, from lead generation or qualification through to sales closing. This comes in the form of new sales generation while nurturing existing customer relationships.

 

The sales region includes Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Missouri.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop pipeline, progress opportunities through the sales funnel while accurately forecasting revenue
• Maintain accurate Salesforce contacts, accounts, opportunities, and relevant fields for forecasting product needs for manufacturing and sales leadership
• Develop and foster close relationships with new and existing hospitality management companies in the territory
• Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
• Suggest new product ideas and/or features based on customer feedback

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• 5+ years of proven field sales experience
• Travel - 50%+

 

WHAT WE PREFER

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• 2+ years proven sales experience in the hospitality technology space
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
