Job Description
What You Will Accomplish
As a Pool Server at Hotel Viata, you will provide an elevated poolside dining experience by delivering exceptional service with a warm and welcoming attitude. Your responsibilities will include:
• Taking accurate guest orders, entering them into the POS system, making food and beverage recommendations, and ensuring timely service.
• Enhancing the guest experience by suggesting cocktails, wines, and menu items, and confidently describing chef’s specials.
• Maintaining knowledge of food ingredients, special dietary options, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries.
• Keeping kitchen staff informed of meal progression to ensure smooth service.
• Processing guest payments accurately and balancing all transactions with precision.
• Setting up and maintaining the poolside dining area with necessary table settings, condiments, and service essentials.
• Adhering to all food and alcohol handling, sanitation, TIPS, and health department guidelines to ensure a safe and high-quality dining experience.
What You Will Bring
