About the Opportunity:

This position is a leadership role amongst a team of 8 student services administrators.  The goal is to assist all graduate students to successfully navigate their graduate program curriculum, while being a part of a vibrant School and University environment.  

Job Summary:

The Associate Director will work closely with the Assistant Dean/Director of Student Services to build community for graduate students and assure services are planned, initiated, and delivered.  The Full-Time MBA program is the responsibility of this position, and this person will serve as the academic advisor to this population and work closely with faculty that teach in this program.  This person will supervise the professional Engagement Specialist, overseeing all student clubs, organizations, and large community events for graduate students.  They will serve on the Commencement committee.  Hiring and Supervising of Graduate Assistant falls to this role.   International Travel with students is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Full-time MBA program with advising of students, offering week- long orientation and monitoring student academic progress through certification for graduation. Develop and oversee Skills Class for students.

  • Supervision of Engagement Specialist Professional while overseeing development of student leaders (clubs and organizations) and large community events.  Also hire and supervise Office Graduate Assistant.  

  • Expected travel internationally with students for international Consulting course or Field Seminars. 

  • Administrative duties as needed. Working closely with in School teams such as Career Services and Admissions, as well as across campus college academic programs, Financial Services, We Care, and Office of Global Services.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of related higher education experience

  • Ability to deal with Sensitive topics.

  • Exceptional Customer Service

  • Strong organizational Skills

  • Able to work will with all members of academic community, including students, staff, faculty, administrators.

  • Strong Technical background, Microsoft Office applications

  • Willing to travel internationally.
