About the role
CMA externship position. Practice specialty: Family. Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursdays 8am-5pm Saturdays 8am-1:30pm.
Job Description:
Provide support with both clinical and administrative duties in a busy family practice clinic.
Job Duties:
Prep patient(s) EMR charts. Take and record
patient vital readings. Assist provider with EMR chart notes, follow provider
orders. Assist with in house procedures. (EKG, Ear irrigation, shots,
Hemoglobin A1C). Answer phones. Schedule appointments, take messages, call in/e
prescribe medications to pharmacy.
Requirements
Clinical and admin experience preferred, but
willing to train. Verbal and oral communication. Team player, friendly. No covid vaccine is necessary.
