Our partner who is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace in Southfield, MI, is currently seeking an Administrative Staff member to join their team. This role is crucial to their administrative operations, supporting various business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production and editing of complex client or Firm deliverables, including proposals, presentations, letters, memos, and reports.
- Manage scheduling and organization of various meetings, including conference room reservations, refreshments, and conference call setups. Distribute agendas, project lists, minutes, and reports as needed.
- Handle travel arrangements, client/team meetings, and event coordination.
- Offer backup support to other members of the administrative team when required.
- Participate in administrative projects, some of which may be complex and related to specific organizational functions.
- Maintain regular communication with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Requirements
- Preferred 1 year of administrative experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, with higher education or college coursework being a plus.
- Demonstrated administrative, organizational, and time management skills, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a client service mindset and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Availability to work in the office five days a week, with a willingness to work overtime if needed.
