About the role
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual Dietetic Extern in our Food Service Department.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor, the Dietetic Extern performs clerical duties, patient visits, and nutrition screens. All documentation in the electronic medical record is cosigned by a Registered Dietitian.
QualificationsEducation:
- High School diploma or equivalent

Completion of 2 years of undergraduate program in
dietetics and currently enrolled in dietetics.
- Food Handling Certificate recognized by the Cabell County Health Department upon employment and updates as required by county mandate is preferred
Experience:
- No previous experience is required
