Who We Are
Disability Resources (DR) is one of twelve departments housed in the Division of Student Affairs. Disability Resources staff members interact and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to achieve a learning environment for students with disabilities at Texas A&M University.
The Disability Resources Testing Center, where these positions will work, administers more than 30,000 exams and finals each academic year. We provide testing accommodations such as extended time, reduced distraction environments, and assistive technology to support over 5,500 students registered with Disability Resources. We promote accessibility as everyone’s responsibility and strive to provide a welcoming campus for disabled students.

The Testing Center Coordinator I works under general supervision and provides complex administrative support work. This person collaborates with a team to schedule, prepare, administer, and return exams. We need a person with a strength in attention to detail, someone who is task-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We have several positions available, including 12-months or for 9-months (August-May) and one of the following flexible work schedules:
7:30 am – 4:30 pm
9:00 am – 6:00 pm
12:30 pm - 9:30 pm or 10:30 am – 7:30 pm
What You Need To Know
These positions will require extended hours during the four days of finals in the Fall (December) and Spring (May) semesters.
May supervise student employees
Salary: $45,000/annually for 12-month or $33,750 for 9-month positions

Responsibilities
Exam Administration:
Utilizes a data management system to track and maintain a daily testing schedule.
Monitors, reviews and processes exam requests.
Oversee scheduling and sends reminders of upcoming exams.
Assists instructors with questions related to scheduling.
Coordinates and processes exams received from instructors.
Composes emails, initiates phone calls, and communicates with testing center staff and student employees.
Front Desk Coverage:
Provides front desk coverage such as opening the office in the morning, answering phones, greeting students, and facilitating exam check-in/out process.
Enforces time limits and compliance.
Proctors and monitors exams via local CCTV or online through web conferencing while complying with directives from faculty and testing center policies and informs appropriate personnel of incidents during testing.
Manages online web conferencing for remote proctoring.
Serves as liaison for service contracts.
Participates in training of student employees and assigns work to student employees.
