What You’ll Do

As a Brand Licensing Summer (June - August) Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the licensing business, supporting the day-to-day operations of the brand and business development team. This role offers exposure to a variety of functions within the licensing process, from contract management to partner communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of brand licensing fundamentals and industry best practices
  • Learn and support the brand and business development processes within the division
  • Organize and maintain licensing files, digital assets, and documentation
  • Assist in managing the royalty reporting database and tracking partner submissions
  • Support contract compliance efforts, including preparing summaries and ensuring adherence to key terms
  • Communicate with licensing partners via email and calls to support ongoing projects
  • Compile and prepare internal reports, presentations, and market overviews
  • Conduct desk research on industry trends, competitor licensing programs, and potential partners
  • Assist in internal process improvements and documentation updates

Must Haves

  • Currently enrolled university student
  • Available to work up to 20 hours per week
  • Able to work onsite in our NYC office
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
  • Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks

 

Primary Location Salary Range

The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York is $18.
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York is $22.
