About the role

The Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) serves all customers and is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinic functions relating to rooming, in-clinic procedures and administrative tasks.

 

Work Schedule: 32 hrs. weekly / .8 FTE

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 - 4:30

  

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of formal Medical Assistant Program or Documentation of equivalent training/education.
  • Qualified to work in a moderately complex laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA).
  • Current BLS certification required at time of hire/start date
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration by an agency approved by the National Certification Agency
  • At least six months recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a direct patient care setting.
