At Palo Alto Networks, we recognize that our Global Customer Service (GCS) and G&A function - encompassing teams like People, Marketing, and IT - are vital to our success. If you're a seasoned selection and assessment expert with a passion for innovation, our Assessment & Analytics team has an opening that might just be your next challenge.

This pivotal team drives a data-centered talent acquisition approach, leveraging scientific and research-backed methodologies to improve our hiring caliber. Within this role, you'll primarily be supporting the GCS and G&A functions. You'll undertake tasks such as job analyses, creation of success profiles, and partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition team. Your objective? To refine and elevate our hiring processes by introducing cutting-edge, evidence-based selection and assessment strategies for our core roles in these functions.

Your skills in translating complex talent data into actionable insights and managing intricate cross-functional projects will be crucial. Your Impact 

  • Conduct job analysis to determine the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics (e.g., competencies) required to succeed in critical roles within our GCS and G&A organizations
  • Develop success profiles to guide hiring and talent management processes across the GCS and G&A organizations
  • Support the development of selection and assessment solutions, with a particular focus on structured interviewing and technical assessments for GCS and G&A roles (e.g., Customer Success Engineer, IT Software Engineer, IT Product Manager)
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to design research studies and pilots focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the hiring process
  • Assist with developing and delivering training programs for recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers on updates and changes to the hiring process, including the effective use of assessment tools, interview techniques, and best practices
  • Apply your knowledge of statistical concepts to evaluate the effectiveness of assessment-related initiatives and support the continuous improvement of a quality-of-hire analytics program
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in selection and assessment to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of our talent acquisition strategies

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field (e.g., Organizational Behavior)
  • Expertise in job analysis, competency modeling, and validation strategies
  • Strong knowledge of various assessment methods (e.g., structured interviews, personality assessments, job knowledge tests, situational judgment tests, work samples, simulations)
  • Prior experience designing, implementing, and evaluating assessment tools and processes, preferably within the technology industry
  • Strong project management and organiz
