Product Designer

We’re looking for a product designer to join our early-stage team and help us bring transparency to pet health. 

As a Product Designer, you’ll be joining a close-knit product & engineering team composed of our Head of Product, Director of Design & UX, Associate Product Manager, Copywriter, and rockstar Software Engineers. Your work will help to build a massive business that positively impacts the lives of millions of pet parents. This job is perfect for someone with a proven track record of designing and shipping impactful product features that wants to make a big impact as part of a small product team. The role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and a passion for enhancing the user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, interfaces, and interactive prototypes for both pet parents and veterinarians
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gain a deep understanding of pet parents’ needs and motivations when it comes to the pet insurance industry and the health of their pets
• Conduct A/B test experiments end to end, from discovery to implementation, through analysis and follow up
• Contribute to Pawlicy’s growing design system and component library
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver the best experience possible for our users

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a product or UX designer in desktop and mobile environments
• A passion for user research and the desire to deeply understand users
• An understanding of qualitative and quantitative data, and how to use it to guide design decisions 
• Experience working with, or contributing to a design system
• You have an opinion and thrive when given the opportunity to own a problem and the solution
• You clearly and effectively communicate insight, ideas, and design decisions 
• You’re excited to own a project from start to finish: research, design, test, and iterate

Where is the Pawlicy Advisor team located?

Pawlicy is headquartered in NYC and currently the majority of the team operates remotely with a few focused work places around the country. We meet up for company offsites on a regular basis where we fly the whole team out to a fun destination and spend a few days team building. Our last few involved paddle boarding, ropes courses, horse riding, and some early morning yoga. We can’t wait for the next one :)

How large are you as a business?
